One-to-One Tuition — your own ceramic project

Each session is tailored to your project aims. You might explore:

• Model and mould making for production or small-batch work.

• Single drop-out or multi-piece moulds.

• Sculptural plaster moulds: reinforced splash moulds, layered materials, and scaled-up works.

• Slip and press casting in earthenware, terracotta, porcelain, or stoneware.

• Colouring clays and experimenting with casting techniques.

• Preparing materials for plaster or silicone moulds.

• Refined plaster modelmaking: turning, profiling, sledging, and hand-modelling.

You’ll receive hands-on technical guidance and advice to continue your work independently with confidence.

Helen offers access to her professional plaster lathe for short-term projects, with optional hands-on guidance or technical support.
Ideal for experienced makers needing equipment access for model turning, profiling, or refining plaster components.

Available as part of one-to-one tuition sessions or by special arrangement.

One to One sessions run on demand — flexible in both dates and times. Each session is tailored to your schedule, project, and learning needs.

• Price: from £650 — sliding scale available for multiple booked days.

• Small group option: book for 2–3 people working on similar processes (mould making, modelling, or casting).

All materials and size restrictions are assessed before tuition based on project requirements. An invoice will be issued to confirm your booking.

Cancellations — Sessions can be rescheduled with 14 days’ notice; refunds aren’t available for late cancellations.
